Day 2 (Thu):
Full day at Sacred Valley of the Incas, including famous market place of Pisaq, named for the beauty and fertility of its land. Picturesque Andean markets, churches, & Inca ruins; Visit ruins of Ollantaytambo. Hotel for night. (B,L)
Day 3 (Fri):
Train ride through Andes Mountain passes & Urubamba Valley to Machu Picchu. Guided visit of this ancient Inca city in the clouds, discovered in 1911. Explore at your own pace & take time for hiking & reflection. Night near Machu Picchu (B,L)
Day 4 (Sat):
Early morning visit to Machu Picchu to watch clouds disappear & reveal the ruins; midday train back to Cusco, free time for exploration before afternoon flight to La Paz; La Paz markets, night at Hostal Naira. (B)
