Adventure travel and eco tours in Bolivia encounter a variety of weather. Generally, pack as light as possible, keeping in mind that you may visit snowcapped mountains and tropical jungles on the same day. We provide "soft" adventure that allows the civilized traveler to stay clean for the duration while encouraging barbarian travelers to get their hands dirty (see "Photos"). There is no need to get "dressed up" on any itinerary. We will provide you with a complete Trip Update 30 days prior to departure which will provide complete preparation details.

Keep in Mind:
The program of "Ethno-Eco-Tourism" that Fremen and the four participating indigenous rainforest villages have established is based on mutual cooperation and respect. For each traveler that Fremen brings to a village, Fremen makes a payment into the village's fund in exchange for the village's services. Services include horseback riding, canoeing, and guided hikes. The villages use their earnings to purchase clothing, school supplies, medicine, food, and other necessities. PLEASE help keep Ethno-Eco-Tourism working by not bringing money, toys, candy, books, or any handouts. Care packages ARE greatly appreciated, but please arrange them through Fremen so we can allow the village leaders to distribute them appropriately.
