Just got back from La Paz. It was an amazing trip, perfect throughout. Many
thanks for your arrangement.
The guide in La Paz, William, was absolutely fantastic, so was his driver
Jaime. Please convey my gratitude for all they did for me and Linda.
The boat's captain Thomas was likewise wonderful. He was a great source of
knowledge and was of course, an expert boatsman. The most enjoyable part for
me was just to sit in his fast boat and observe as he took us all over the
places.
Bolivia turned out to be much more than I had anticipated. Now I am thinking
about another visit there to take in the Carnival in Oruru, then see Sucre
and Potosi, perhaps even ambitious enough to go north to Puno in Peru to see
the floating islands.
