After major renovations in 2000, the renewed Reina continues to navigate the Mamore, Ibare, Secure, Tijamuchi, and other rivers, exploring night sky, remote lagoons, footpaths, lakes, white-sand beaches, savannas, and jungles of the Beni. Our focus is nature - flora and fauna, and responsible interaction with the environment. Fremen teams with four small indigenous villages that co-manage our horseback, handicraft, wildlife viewing, and lagoon canoeing programs. We pay each village for every traveler that visits. Fremen also works with CYMA, a small group of university-trained, native Bolivian biologists that provide expert guiding to our groups.

Fremen's activities have earned it Bolivia's Gold Medal award for responsible tourism in Bolivia. We have hosted research biologists, zoo groups, company outings, university groups, reunions, authors, political dignitaries, family vacations, and thousands of individuals since 1985. Fremen is referenced in leading guidebooks, including Bradt, Footprints, Fodor's, Culture Shock, and Cadogan. We love to help our guests explore, and we do it well. Fremen has offices in La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, and Trinidad, Bolivia, and in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
